This Months Highlight - BMW SINISTER SIX Project

BMW Sinister Six Project Car
This Alpine Sinister Six is a custom show car built on the base of a  BMW 645i Convertible. Originally purchased from the dealer at a price of $82,000. This BMW underwent a dramatic alteration that began with stripping the car down to the frame and rebuilding it from the ground up. This Crazy modification was the work of Steve Brown and Gary Bell from Alpine’s Advanced Application R&D team. With more than four months of work and an excess of 3500 labor hours, this design was made into reality.

The Front of the Sinister Six was modified to maintain the BMW style split grill design and headlights. With its custom airbrushed paint job and chopped roof, the Sinister Six stands out of the crowd with its dark design and slick lines.

The Rear of the Sinister Six is customized with a super car spoiler design and clear rear hatch. However unlike the typical super car sporting its monster engine through the rear hatch, the Sinister Six shows off its Alpine Audio System,  hopped up with more than 8 Amplifiers pushing more than 9,000 watts of power to the speakers.

Apart from the body kit that was fabricated for the Sinister Six, the BMW was widened by 23cm with 24" wheels in the front , and 26" wheels tucked under the rear of it.  The exterior of the Sinister Six, with its super car look, custom body kit, huge wheels and slick paint job is nothing compared with the modifications done to the interior. At first glance its hard to notice that the Sinister Six has no doors, but instead has a rotating center console that rotates 90 degrees to allow the driver into the fabricated and centered seat of the Sinister Six.

However the most unique aspect of the Sinister Six that can be seen, is that it has no steering wheel. Instead it is equip with a revolutionary electronic steering assembly that is operated with a knob on the console. Turning this knob activates an electric chain driven motor that steers the front wheels accordingly.
